Hal Cruttenden to host British Parking Awards 2016
The British Parking Awards have established a reputation for selecting witty and engaging hosts. The 2016 ceremony was compered by the comedian Hal Cruttenden.
A familiar face on TV, he has appeared on Have I Got News for You, The Royal Variety Performance, Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie To You?, Sunday Night at the Palladium, The Great British Bake Off: Extra Slice, Mock The Week, Celebrity Squares and Pointless Celebrities.
This year Hal is part of a celebrity crew taking part in a transatlantic yacht race as part of Sport Relief.
Over the past few years he’s been nominated for ‘Best Club Act’ at the prestigious Chortle Awards. He is currently touring nationwide with his show ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’. His previous tours include ‘Tough Luvvie’, ‘The Tiny Rage Tour’ and ‘Lively’.
Cruttendan is the latest in a long line of excellent awards comperes, including: Ade Adepitan, Alexander Armstrong, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Adrian Chiles, the Revd. Richard Coles, Jon Culshaw, Hugh Dennis, Richard Hammond, Shappi Khorsandi, John Sergeant and Meera Syal.
