The Front Line Award
Parking can be a challenging profession. This award is dedicated to parking personnel engage with drivers and the general public as a part of their day-to-day activities. This award will recognise excellent customer service, communication skills and community engagement.

It is open to individuals or teams of civil enforcement officers, parking attendants, parking shop counter staff and call centre staff.

The criteria:
The entry should include details of:
  • Name and role of nominee.
  • Career history.
  • Testimonials, references.
  • Training undertaken.
  • Professional and personal achievements.
The judges will be looking for the following:
  • Examples of the nominee doing the extra things that makes for outstanding performance.
  • Evidence of a consistent application of good practice.
  • Evidence of excellence as a representative of the parking industry to the customer/local community.
  • Testimonials illustrating a high level of respect amongst fellow employees.
  • Details of training (NVQs, First Aid, health & safety, Welcome Host, etc).
  • Membership of parking sector bodies and initiatives (BPA regional groups and Special Interest Groups, Women in Parking, etc).
  • Personal circumstances will be taken into consideration by the judges.
