The British Parking Awards 2013 open for entries on 3 September. The British Parking Awards, organised by Parking Review and organised by Landor LINKS, are presented to the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
The most coveted trophy is The Overall Winner, is presented to the individual category winner which represents the single most outstanding example of excellence in the UK parking industry during the past year.
Alexander Armstrong revealed BAA's Heathrow pods as 2012 Overall Winner
Comedian Alexander Armstrong revealed the winners of the British Parking Awards 2012 in London on Friday 9 March.
BAA and Ultra Global PRT were named the Overall Winner of the British Parking Awards 2012 for developing a driverless pod system which links Terminal 5 with the business car parks. The PRT system also won the Innovation and Environment categories
Over 80 entries were received for the 2012 competition, organised by Parking Review magazine. The awards lunch attracted a record 550 guests.
The British Parking Awards are revealed at a gala lunch held in leading London venues.
These sell-out events are compered by celebrity hosts. The British Parking Awards 2011 were hosted by Hugh Dennis, star of the BBC sitcom Outnumbered and star of Mock the Week. Previous events have been presented by Richard Hammond, Jon Culshaw, Adrian Chiles, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Meera Syal and John Sergeant.
