| Parking in the Community Award Entry Criteria | ||

| This new category will recognise the ways in which people working in the parking sector are making a positive contribution to the wider community on a local, regional or national level. Entries could be: Site-specific improvements or additional services that benefit the local community and/or users with specific needs. Community involvement projects which seek to involve and improve the locality which a car park operation serves Charitable fund-raising initiatives involving individual parking staff, teams or organisations which have made a positive contribution to good causes at either a local or national level. The criteria: Working for and with a wider community Team work and willingness to go the extra mile Innovative thinking in the preparation, publicising, undertaking project/initiative Degree of success in achieving goal, making changes, improvements, etc Public profile achieved for the project, cause, etc Personal circumstances and disabilities will be taken into consideration by the judges. Where appropriate the following areas should be addressed and supporting material provided: Details of the individuals or team involved in the project Outline of the project undertaken Press clippings Testimonials, references (especially feedback from community or benefiting charity) If the candidate submits themselves please provide contact details of a reference How to Enter Entry is free.
