British Parking Awards 2008

And the winners are...

Our congratulations go to VINCI Park, which won the Equita Overall Award at the 2008 British Parking Awards for its accessibility scheme at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The scheme applies “Shopmobility” principles to increase mobility and access across this NHS Tayside site.

VINCI Park’s award was announced by actress and journalist Meera Syal, who entertained a packed house of nearly five hundred parking professionals over lunch at the Dorchester Hotel on Friday.

“Accessibility was a recurring theme at this year’s awards, with many innovative schemes vying for a prize, says Paul Sharpe, Marketing Director of Equita, which sponsors the British Parking Awards. “The VINCI Park scheme at Ninewells represents the best of all these highly commendable ideas.”
